Privacy policy
Last updated 7 November 2026
This policy explains what personal information Tortoiz Themes collects through Scoothost, and why.
What we collect
- When you request access: your name, email, domain, theme and anything you write in the form.
- When you become a client: your name, email, GitHub username (if you want repository access), your domain and your site’s content.
- When you pay: Lemon Squeezy handles your payment details. We see your name, email, plan and payment status, but never your card number.
How we use it
Only to provide the service: to reply to you, build and host your site, send invoices and service emails, and keep records we’re legally required to keep. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts the sites and this website.
- GitHub stores your site’s source files in a private repository.
- Lemon Squeezy processes payments and invoices.
- Web3Forms delivers the request-access form to us by email.
Cookies
This website doesn’t use tracking or advertising cookies. The client area uses a single cookie to keep you signed in.
Your site’s visitors
Your own website may collect information from its visitors, for example through a contact form. You’re responsible for your site’s own privacy policy, and we’re happy to help you write one.
How long we keep it
While you’re a client, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal and accounting reasons. Unanswered access requests are deleted after 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by writing to hello@scoothost.com.
